Grand Hotel Oslo

We were commissioned to redesign 63 Superior Rooms at the historic Grand Hotel Oslo, a landmark rich with history and heritage. The existing rooms felt dark and dated, in need of renewal while preserving the hotel’s timeless character.

Our approach was to create a lighter, more contemporary atmosphere without losing the classic thread that defines the Grand. The palette is calm and refined, soft neutrals, layered textures, and subtle contrasts that enhance natural light and space. Every detail was considered to bring a sense of quiet luxury; bespoke furniture, tailored lighting, and carefully selected materials that feel both fresh and enduring.

The result is a collection of rooms that honour the building’s history yet meet the expectations of today’s traveller, bright, elegant, and unmistakably Grand.
