Nobel Suite

The Nobel Suite at Grand Hotel Oslo is one of Norway’s most iconic suites, home to Nobel Peace Prize laureates since 1901. The historic hotel hosts the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony each year, and this renowned suite was in need of a complete transformation to match its legacy.

Gathe + Gram led the full refurbishment, reimagining the suite with a refined balance of classical elegance and modern Scandinavian restraint. The new design incorporates the Nobel Committee’s updated color profile, merging heritage with contemporary sensibility. Rich materials such as marble, oak are paired with soft textiles and bespoke furnishings, creating a calm yet dignified atmosphere.

The Nobel Suite was shortlisted for an AHEAD Award in 2020 for Best Suite.
