Located in the heart of Frogner, Oslo, this turn-of-the-century apartment underwent a complete transformation. The property was stripped back to its bones and rebuilt with a focus on craftsmanship, materiality, and light.

Gathe + Gram custom designed every element, from the kitchen and bathroom to bespoke furniture and storage solutions. The result is a home that balances historical architecture with a modern sensibility. Classic detailing such as cornices and paneling are paired with contemporary forms, soft curves, and tactile materials, creating a calm and layered atmosphere.

Natural stone, warm oak flooring, and subtle tones form the foundation, while sculptural lighting and custom furniture pieces add personality and depth. Every room was designed to feel both timeless and personal , elegant yet comfortable.

The project was shortlisted for ´The International Design & Architecture Awards´and featured in Vogue Living, December 2022, recognised for its refined balance between Scandinavian restraint and international sophistication.
