Set in the scenic landscape of upstate New York, this 1,650 m² private residence has been developed in close collaboration between Gathe + Gram and a local architectural team. The project marks a complete design journey, from initial concept to the detailing of every interior element.

Conceived as a modern country estate, the villa combines grand proportions with an atmosphere of warmth and intimacy. The interiors feature 13 ensuite bedrooms, each with custom walk-in wardrobes, alongside a family kitchen, staff kitchen, gym, sauna, playroom, mudroom, and multiple living and dining spaces designed for both family life and entertaining.

Natural materials and bespoke craftsmanship define the palette, creating a timeless aesthetic that connects the home to its surrounding landscape. Expansive glazing brings the outside in, blurring the boundary between architecture and nature.

The property also includes a 150 m² pool house with a guest suite, a vegetable garden, and a chicken coop, adding a layer of rustic charm to the estate’s contemporary framework. The result is a serene retreat, a thoughtfully designed family home that balances scale, elegance, and everyday comfort.
