Smakeriet

Smakeriet is a mountain restaurant and bar concept created by Bocuse d’Or winner Ørjan Johannessen. Nestled in the alpine landscape of Geilo, the restaurant was envisioned as a gathering place for both locals and visitors; a warm, intimate escape from the mountain cold.

Gathe + Gram designed the full interior concept, combining rich materials and tactile contrasts to create a space that feels both refined and grounded. Dark timber, deep-toned stone, and brushed brass are paired with soft fabrics and ambient lighting to evoke a sense of understated luxury.
